This is an original portrait painting on gallery wrap canvas. This beautiful acrylic artwork of a female holding a monarch butterfly was inspired by an admiration for this magnificent migrating insect. I need to mention that monarch butterflies fly up to 2,500 miles from the U.S. and Canada where they breed, all the way down to the forests in central Mexico where they hibernate, making them the most highly evolved of any known species of their kind.
This phenomenal creature inspires me through life’s challenges. They are a guiding light that directs us to our highest spiritual truth and the inner compass that we all have, which never ceases to work to point us in the right direction. We belong to nature, and nature has no borders. The butterfly is a symbol of the right of all living beings to move freely.

Refund Policy
If you are simply unhappy with your painting, you may return it within 7 business days from the date of delivery. You must package the painting in exactly the same fashion as it was when it arrived to you. I will email you my mailing address to return the painting.
Return shipping fees and shipping charges, are the customer’s responsibility.
Once I have the painting in perfect condition, we can proceed with a refund (minus shipping charges) or with choosing a new piece (of equal or lesser value).
Commissioned original artworks are made-to-order and therefore not eligible for returns or exchanges.
Returns will not be accepted for any artwork that has been stretched, cropped, or altered in any capacity after purchase.
