Description
This original artwork portrays the intimate connection between two surreal female figures, a mother and daughter. Using one large eye in my figures has often prompted questions, as a unique characteristic found in paintings. The reason behind the choice is a deeply personal one that I have hesitated to share until now.
My mom lost an eye to cancer not long after I relocated to California in 2003. While the experience was difficult to talk about, it continued to deeply affect me. Through this painting, I am able to express my love and admiration for my mother’s strength and resilience. The artwork serves as a tribute to her as a woman who inspires and encourages me to this day.
This painting speaks to themes of love, strength, and resilience. It is a poignant reminder that beauty radiates from within and that it is not limited by external appearances. I hope that her artwork will serve as a source of comfort and inspiration to those who view it.

Refund Policy
If you are simply unhappy with your painting, you may return it within 7 business days from the date of delivery. You must package the painting in exactly the same fashion as it was when it arrived to you. I will email you my mailing address to return the painting.
Return shipping fees and shipping charges, are the customer’s responsibility.
Once I have the painting in perfect condition, we can proceed with a refund (minus shipping charges) or with choosing a new piece (of equal or lesser value).
Commissioned original artworks are made-to-order and therefore not eligible for returns or exchanges.
Returns will not be accepted for any artwork that has been stretched, cropped, or altered in any capacity after purchase.
